About Me

I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at Middle East Technical University (METU), Department of Psychology, and then I graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, PhD program in Psychology. Throughout my graduate education and beyond, I continued both my academic and clinical work. I served as a lecturer in the Departments of Psychology at Çankaya University and Maltepe University. I later continued my academic career at Yeditepe University, where I taught undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology. During this time, I also served as the Coordinator of the Clinical Psychology Master's Program in the Department of Psychology at Yeditepe University. I completed the training programs 'From Psychoanalysis to Dynamic Psychotherapies' and Technique and 'Practice in Dynamic Psychotherapy', as well as the '12 Articles 12 Discussions', and 'Creative Readings' seminars and the consultation group led by psychoanalyst Yavuz Erten. I also completed the intensive online psychoanalytic psychotherapy training with an interpersonal/relational psychoanalytic focus offered by the William Alanson White Institute. In addition, I completed the Introduction to Relational Psychoanalysis seminar series provided by The International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP). I was also accepted into the Contemporary Perspectives of Psychoanalysis Fellowship Program at The Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy + Psychoanalysis (ICP+P). I have been conducting psychotherapy since my master's training, including throughout my years in academia. I have been conducting psychotherapy sessions since my master’s training, including during my years as an academic. Since relocating abroad in 2022, I have been continuing my clinical work online.
